Music to write to... Part 1 - Dead Man on the Moor - Tales from the Black Meadow
I am currently writing the short story - "Dead Man on the Moor."
I find music really aids the mind - helps create atmosphere...
I am occasionally (when I remember) going to log what I am listening to as I write, it might help me in the future if I have writer's block it will also act as an auditory diary...
My playlist for this story is five albums:
Moon Wiring Club - An Audience of Art Deco Eyes
Moon Wiring Club - Shoes Off and Chairs Away
Hauschka - Foreign Landscapes
Greg Haines - Slumber Tides
Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother
Try these!

Thursday 1 November, durational performance 7pm - 10pm (last admittance 9.30pm)
Since he was a child he was obsessed with the coming Apocalypse.
His mother would often tell him in excited tones about the End Times and how judgement day was coming very soon.
It didn’t.
But it still excited him. He played out a fantasy of survival, and longed for a world devoid of people, a world of peace and beauty, an idyll.
And then it came, just like she said.
And now he considered himself alone at last… But someone was just outside, standing at the door, knocking, waiting…
A fully interactive theatrical experience brought to you by Exiled Theatre.
A secret location for this performance is to be announced soon.
